This is our free Website Planning Tool.

Please fill in the Website Planning form and click submit at the bottom. This will send a copy of the form to us. We will check the form and email you a copy for your use. We will also contact you to go through the form and discuss your needs.

  • About You

  • Please say a bit about what your business is and what you do eg Osteopath - providing on-site and online client consultations and online sales of osteopathy products.
  • About Your Website

  • Please say a bit about what you want your website to do for you eg promotion, providing information, sales etc.
  • Please provide as much information as you can about the people you intend to target with your website eg predominately female, 35 - 55, global, interested in health etc.
  • Most people arrive at a website looking for something in particular, although this will be different for each person. Say a bit about what people will be searching for when they visit your site eg help with backpain, art for their home, inspiration etc.
  • Please provide a draft menu structure for your site as you see it. This may be a single level eg Home, What We Do, Who We Are etc. or it may be more than one level eg What We Do - Consultations, Training, Services etc.
  • What your site looks and feels like is very important and should reflect you. Please provide examples of 3 websites working in a similar area to you which you like, and say why you like them. If you have any particular colours which you want to use please say what they are. Give as much information as you can about what you want your site to look and feel like. If you want to use one of our templates - please say which one.
  • Plan the website in terms of what you want to have done and by when e.g.: Site structure in place by date First draft with content by date Site reviewed and finalised by date
  • Please add anything that you would like which you think may be helpful in getting across what you want in relation to your website.
  • Website Functionality

  • For each of the following functions please indicate whether it is Not Required, Desireable or Essential. This is not an exhaustive list and functionality is being added all the time. Please contact me if you would like something that is not on the list.
  • All our sites are responsive. This is crucial in order for search engines to be able to find your site. Can be turned off if required.
  • This comes built into with every site.
  • This enables you to add colleagues as users at various levels (admin, editor etc) so they can make changes/update the site.
  • Frequently asked questions - can be helpful to reduce the number of phone calls or just to provide more information on specific topics.
  • EG - Show a sign up/subscription form which integrates with a Mailchimp (or other) mailing list.
  • Buttons such as Facebook, Twitter, etc which, when clicked, take visitors directly to your social media sites.
  • Icons at the top or bottom of pages and/or posts to enable visitors to share that content on their own social media accounts.
  • A separate page specifically for you to quickly post news or blog items to. Post headings or excerpts can be pulled into other pages as required.
  • An area of the site where registration and login is required in order to access it
  • Automatically showing testimonials from satisfied users - one at a time for a specified length of time (eg 5 seconds)
  • Rotating/sliding/fading set of images on selected pages. Usually used on the Home page to provide an immediate feel of the site - can be linked to specific pages or posts.
  • Enables the purchase of goods or services online with visitors being able to pay online too.
  • Events lists on either a calendar or event list format. List can be categorised and colour coded. Links to full event details.
  • Enable visitors to book onto an event. Enable you to manage all aspects of event bookings.
  • Enable visitors to see availability for a venue and / or room and to be able to book.
  • Enables visitors to book an appointment with you, and for you to manage your appointment booking diary online.
