A rotating testimonial is a great way to display what your clients are saying about you. They fade from one to the next and you can set the transition period to be however many seconds you want.
Thank you so much for all that you have done in the creation of the High Tide site, and for your ongoing and invaluable support. We really appreciate your guidance, your patience and your expertise as well as your wonderful knack for being able to explain technical procedures in ways which made them feel easy.
We are absolutely delighted with the every aspect of the site and have seen a huge increase in bookings as a direct result. Indeed the extra income generated has already paid for the investment that we put into creating the site! Fantastic.
You have made a real and tangible difference and we will be recommending Successability to all our friends.
Since I contracted Successability to take care of my email newsletters and blog, my time has been freed up to do other things that only I can do. This has been invaluable to me, knowing that my clients are being taken care of well, while allowing me to focus on other projects. They have been a pleasure and really easy to work with, prompt in responding and full of useful business tips too. I’m very happy to recommend them.
Designing and building a new website, or extending an old one, is one of those jobs which may seem relatively simple in its aim and desired function but in practice becomes mind blowingly complex when you actually sit down with a clean sheet of paper.
Successability is the answer to your problem. Simon is professional, practical and endlessly patient – no question is beneath him and he is very happy to explain in words of one or fewer syllables. For AMP Awards C.I.C. he invested a lot of time in ensuring he understood all the many different elements of our organisation and took a real interest in unravelling the myriad messages we were trying to convey.
And alongside all his expertise and enthusiasm ran his determined goal to make us as independent and self-reliant as possible. We could not have asked for or expected more.
I wanted something that was easy to navigate and wasn’t too wordy. Simon was great to work with. He was patient, knowledgeable and full of useful tips for developing my ideas. He also introduced me to social media and showed how I could integrate this into the website. All work was completed on schedule and I have had really good feedback.
A slider is like having multiple banners which fade or slide into each other every few seconds (usually about 7). These can link to specific pages or posts and are a great way of highlighting particular areas that you want to draw attention to. Typically you will have 3-5 slides on the Home page which can be changed as you wish. There are several different types of slider. In this case you are looking at a gallery style with images of the Quantocks in Somerset which could lead to Galleries pages.
We love this calendar. It is so versatile and informative. With category colour coding and selection, along with the ability to choose which fields to have for each event, it is simple, robust and effective.
When you click on each event you get a pop up window which provides the visitor with all the information about the event – see example below. You can add and edit all the colour coded categories, and visitors can click on the category to show just the events associated with that category.
These are screenshots. The calendar will typically fill the full width of the page.
We can provide multiple galleries in various formats to suit your needs and artistic temperament.
Below are some versions of a few different gallery styles.

Call to Action Examples
These are a great way of displaying a lot of information about a set topic such as questions and answers. These can be styled to suit your website.
Anchors (sometimes called Bookmarks) are links which, when clicked, take you to a particular point on either the same page, or another page on your website. The buttons at the top of this page ( and the Back to Top) buttons are anchors.
A portfolio is a means of presenting categorised ‘stories’ on a page. It is managed using a Custom Post Type and visitors can select the category that they wish to see. By clicking on each link, the visitor is taken to that individual post. The portfolio below is a screenshot example.
Availability & Booking
With an availability and booking calendar facility on your site you can automate the process of booking rooms, tables – whatever you like. This can be moderated or an entirely automated system. Screenshot of calendar used on the High-Tide.co.uk site.
If you site has quite a few levels of sub-menus, then breadcrumbs can be a great way of keeping track of where you are and to help you to find your way around. See example below.
Home > Services > Disability Aids > Mobility > Mobility Scooters
This breadcrumb would typically appear at the top of your page. Every item would be linked and clickable.
