Time for some straight talking about Search Engine Optimization (SEO)!
Search Engine Optimization is a bit of a constantly changing minefield, but that doesn’t mean that you need to blindly hand over complete control to someone on the promise of them getting your website onto page 1 of Google. Your input is just as important, and it doesn’t have to be difficult or time consuming. Yes there are things which need to be set up, monitored and regularly carried out by others, but you should know exactly what these are and what is being done for you. This is our approach.
We will assess your SEO standing and provide you with a report on what’s working, what’s not and what needs to be put into place – this is a free service. We focus on the areas that have the greatest impact and the best return on investment. As these may be different for each website, depending on how they have been set up and maintained, we only offer a bespoke search engine optimization service. This allows you to pick and choose according to your budget and your needs. We explain everything and we report regularly on what we have done and how things are improving.
We also train you. Yes, that’s right. You need to be involved too. Every time you make a change to your site (we will help you to ensure you can easily keep fresh content coming) you potentially affect the SEO ranking of your site. Let’s make sure you can make a positive difference.
Search Engine Optimization for Americans (that means you!)
Sorry about that. It doesn’t really mean you. You may have noticed that on this site ‘Optimization’ is spelled with a Z – not an S as in ‘Optimisation’. Now I’m normally a stickler for this sort of thing, however as this page is about search engine optimization, then it really ought to conform – don’t you think? Now most people’s computers will auto correct the spelling of optimisation to have it as a Z (the american spelling). Indeed the worldwide spelling of ‘optimization’ is used 3 times more often than ‘optimisation’. So in order to make the best use of SEO for this site and page, I have opted for the US spelling. But that’s it! No color (except in the site code of course) or other Americanisations (heehee). I bless our fellow humans across the pond, however I intend to hang onto UK English for as long as possible. 🙂
