And so I got to thinking – how can I make this happen for others? How can I give others this same feeling? How can I enable others to ‘find £50 on the pavement’?
Clearly I can’t go around dishing out £50 notes, much as I would like to, and so I got to thinking, and it wasn’t long before an answer came to me.
What’s more, not only can I help you to do the equivalent of find £50 on the pavement, but I can help others into the bargain as well. Everybody wins. Yay!
£50. Just like that? Really?
Yes. At least pretty much. I’ll explain.
A key part of my business is helping independent retailers and businesses to cut the costs of their credit and debit card terminals. You know the ones – the chip and pin machines that you put your card into to pay for whatever it is you are buying. Well the retailers have to pay for these, and unfortunately most of them are paying too much. Actually to put it succinctly – they’re getting ripped off. The worst part of it is, quite a few think they are on a good deal, until they see the hidden charges and the gobbledegook that comes with their bill. I’m sorry to say that it is an unscrupulous business which desperately needs cleaning up. And that is what I and a handful of others are trying to do.
I go into the retailers and get them better deals by stripping away the hidden charges, the complicated costs and the jargon, and at the same time cutting their rates. You may not know, but to have a card terminal there are a number of costs to the retailer. What I do is to minimize not just the number of these costs, but also the rates that they have to pay.
Added to that, the service that many of them receive is poor, and I can make a huge difference there as well.
So how is all this relevant?
Well in order to help retailers to cut their costs, I ideally need to get introductions to them. And this is where you come in. We all know retailers and businesses that accept credit and debit card payments, and most of us are loyal to the ones that we like. Indeed the fact that we like them is often a deciding factor in where we shop.
I want these businesses to save money and get a great service, and I’m willing to pay to make it happen. £50 to be precise.
So how do I get my £50?
Simple. Just fill in this form or call me up on 01943 591195 / 0752 848 1232 and give me an introduction to the owner of an independent business that you know that takes credit and debit card payments. I will then use your introduction to contact them and, if they are eligible, I will go and meet them and see how much I can save them. If they sign up with me, then I pay you £50. Now that is almost as easy as picking £50 off the pavement – especially as it is much more likely to happen!
What does ‘if they are eligible’ mean?
Most sole traders or partnerships can switch their contract at no cost after 1 year of their current contract. I will take care of all aspects of the contract switching for them. If they are a limited company then I can switch them once they are within about 6 months from the end of their current contract, or if they are out of contract. So even though I may not be able to help them immediately, I will note when I can switch them and arrange a visit at that time. In that case you may need to wait a wee while for your £50.
I know lots of businesses. Can I get £50 for each one?
Yes. Actually I have a team of regular introducers – these will be going on the website shortly. They can potentially earn up to £100 per introduction. If you think that you would like to be an introducer, then give me a call and we’ll arrange to meet.
Are there any restrictions?
Yes – a few.
There are some businesses that are considered high risk and which we won’t approach. Fortunately there aren’t very many of these, however should you pass on an introduction to one of them, I will let you know.
Occasionally it may be that in order to save the business money, I am not able to generate the level of commission required to pass on £50. If that is the case, I will pass on 50% of whatever I get.
This offer only applies to businesses that use countertop, bluetooth (like in a restaurant) and mobile terminals. Although we cover virtual terminals and e-commerce this offer does not include these.
